Alicia de Wet

I do a lot of things. I never shy away from a challenge and I am constantly looking for new ways to improve myself. I say thank you and sorry if I was in the wrong and work hard to not repeat a mistake.

Towards the end of 2015 I started doing online coding courses after hours and on weekends to teach myself an exciting new skill! In 2016 I started working as web developer and have done work for a number of different companies on various exciting projects. I have experience working with different frontend technologies and teams, and adapt well to change.

Born out of my love and deep appreciation for the art of winemaking and South African wine, I started a blog all about South African wine. I have an active Instagram account and have been writing and publishing content online.

I studied Publishing at university and completed my Honours Degree in 2010, whilst working full-time. I worked as Editor and Publisher for a couple of years, before realising that I have another language related passion - coding languages. This lead me to pursue a different career path, but I still do the odd editing, typesetting and translation project.
